Please join us a night prior to the wedding in the main city of Jaipur to celebrate New Years together!!

Venue: We are staying at the Intercontinental in Jaipur with preferred pricing.

There will be an optional dinner celebration this evening at the Intercontinental. It will be more of a dinner/drink vibe.

Tickets are 7,200 INR per person and inclusive of dinner and open premium bar + mocktails.

Mendhi

A pre-wedding ritual where henna is applied to the bride's hands and feet and is associated with good luck and positive spirits, and the ceremony is a way to wish the bride health and prosperity and to symbolize the bond between the couple.

We will also be hosting a beautiful New Year sound bath experience with live performances at the end of the night as everyone gets ready for the new year ahead.

Haldi

The day will start with a Ganesh Sthapana Puja to bring in good luck for the wedding.

The Haldi ceremony, where guests will apply haldi (turmeric) to the bride and groom, which symbolizes love, good luck, and purity. Turmeric is used in this ceremony, and its bright yellow color is considered auspicious. It's believed that the ceremony can prevent evil spirits from harming the couple

Ceremony

The wedding day begins with the Baraat, a lively procession where the groom arrives at the wedding venue.

Followed by a sacred Hindu Vedic ceremony under a Mandap (we’ve chosen to do ours under a Neem tree, sacred in Ayurveda), featuring rituals like Saptapadi (7 rounds), symbolizing our vows and promises, seeking blessings for a happy married life.

Reception

A post-wedding celebration including a cocktail hour, formal dinner, speeches, and LOTS of dancing, marking our first social appearance as a married couple (yay!).
